Double Jump Challenge
Double Jump Challenge is an auto-scrolling runner where every leap is a two-part decision: when to leave the platform and when to spend your one mid-air jump. Platforms sit at different heights, so a mistimed jump can also leave you stuck against a platform's side.

How to Play
The screen scrolls for you. Your only input is jump.
- Start with Space, Enter or the Start Game button.
- Press Space, ArrowUp or W, the jump button, or tap the game area to jump from a platform.
- Press again while in the air for a second jump. The two dots above your runner turn hollow as you use them and refill when you land.
- Hold the button for a higher jump or release early for a lower one. This works for both jumps.
- Cross the gaps, stay off the pink spikes, and pass through the glowing blue orbs to collect them.
Game Objective
Travel as far as possible. Your score is the distance covered plus 20 points for every orb you collect.
The run ends if you touch spikes, fall into a gap, or get pushed off the left edge of the screen. Platforms are solid blocks: run into the side of a higher one and it holds you back while the screen keeps scrolling, which can push you out of view.
Tips
- The air jump sets a fixed upward speed instead of adding to your current one, so it gives the most extra height near the top of the first jump, once you have stopped rising.
- The next platform can sit up to 85 units higher than the one you're on. When it's higher, jump earlier and hold longer, because hitting its side stops you while the screen keeps moving.
- Spikes only appear on longer platforms (over 150 units) and always at least 70 units in from the near edge, so a landing right at the start of a long platform is safe.
- Spike hitboxes ignore the top 30 percent of each spike and a fifth of its width on each side, so grazing a tip is not fatal.
- An orb is worth 20 points, less than one second of running at the starting speed. Never trade a safe landing for one.
Difficulty
Difficulty: Difficulty: Medium
Double Jump Challenge is rated Medium. It uses one button, but every jump involves two timing decisions, and platforms at different heights add a way to fail that plain gap-jumping does not have. Scroll speed rises steadily from the start and reaches its maximum, almost double the starting pace, after about 80 seconds. The course also gets harsher over roughly the first 4,000 points of distance: gaps widen from about 70–150 units to 110–250, platforms get shorter, and spikes appear on more platforms and grow wider.

Double Jump Challenge FAQ
How many jumps do I get in the air?
One. You get a ground jump plus one mid-air jump, and both refill the moment you land on a platform. The two dots above your character show what's left.
What ended my run if I didn't touch a spike or fall?
Platforms are solid, so running into the side of a higher one holds you in place while the screen keeps scrolling. If that pushes you past the left edge of the screen, the run ends.
How are points scored?
You earn points continuously for distance traveled, plus 20 points for each orb you collect.
Can I play Double Jump Challenge on mobile?
Yes. Tap the game area or the jump button under it. Each tap is one jump, so tap twice for a double jump.
